Okay yall, if you are still using deodorants that have aluminum in them then plzzzz do your body a favor and switch over to the natural stuff. Seriously, no excuses.

I’ve battled acne since I was in the 7th grade. I’ve tried everything from Proactive to prescription topicals. I even took antibiotics for 8 years (!!! Don’t recommend this!)

Our products are LOADED with chemicals. And living in the US only makes things worse. The EU has banned over 1,300 chemicals from products, while the FDA has only banned 11. Sigh. If your makeup comes from the drug store, Sephora or Ulta, chances are your products are filled with chemicals that can cause everything from disrupting your hormones to causing cancer.
My New Year’s Resolution this January was to switch to all non-toxic products. The problem was, I really didn’t know where to start.
I figured my laundry detergent and deodorant were bad, so I went with brands that had “natural looking labels.” It wasn’t until I stumbled upon an app called “Think Dirty” that I learned the truth about toxic products. |
